AI Disclosure & Usage Policy

Get My RV Worth is an AI-powered product, and we believe you should know exactly where AI is used, what it's good at, and where its limits are. This policy is part of our Terms & Conditions.

1. Where we use AI

• Seller tools: listing headlines, ad copy, photo shot-lists, and the seller coach are generated by AI from the RV details and questions you provide.
• Valuation reports (consumer and dealer): AI performs a live search of publicly available comparable listings and produces a structured valuation estimate using a fixed methodology we control. Dealer reports also display J.D. Power book figures that the dealership itself entered — we reproduce those numbers; we do not generate or verify them.
• Site content: some blog articles and marketing content are drafted with AI assistance. Every article is reviewed and approved by a human before it is published.
• Operations: we use AI to help route and draft responses to inquiries. A human owns every consequential decision.

2. What AI does not do here

• AI does not make automated decisions about you that have legal or financial effect — it does not set your price, approve or deny you anything, or decide who may contact you.
• AI does not buy, sell, or negotiate on your behalf.
• AI-generated valuations are estimates for your information — they are not certified appraisals, offers, or guarantees of any sale or purchase price.
• We do not use your data to train AI models, and per our providers' API policies, they do not use it to train theirs either.

3. Providers and your data

Our tools are powered by third-party AI APIs — currently OpenAI (tools and valuations) and Anthropic (content drafting). When you use a tool, the inputs needed for that task (for example, your RV's year, make, model, and details, or your coach question) are sent to the provider to generate the output. We do not send your password or payment details to AI providers. Per OpenAI's and Anthropic's API data-usage policies, API inputs and outputs are not used to train their models. Outputs and usage records are stored in your account so you can reuse them. See our Privacy Policy for the full picture.

4. Known limitations — read this before relying on an output

• AI can be wrong. Outputs can be inaccurate, incomplete, outdated, or miss context. Verify anything important before acting on it.
• Comparable listings are asking prices, not confirmed sale prices. Real transactions often close below asking.
• Markets move. A valuation reflects the data available at the moment it was generated. Season, region, fuel prices, and demand shift constantly.
• Condition matters more than any model. No AI can see water damage, roof condition, or maintenance history it wasn't told about. Two “identical” units can be worth thousands apart.
• Every valuation carries a confidence level and its sources. Low-confidence reports (sparse comparable data) deserve extra skepticism.

5. Human oversight

The valuation methodology is fixed and human-authored — the AI executes it; it does not improvise pricing philosophy. Published articles are human-approved. Support requests reach a human. If an AI output looks wrong, tell us at support@getmyrvworth.com and a person will look at it.

6. Your responsibilities

• Provide accurate information — outputs are only as good as the inputs.
• Independently verify AI outputs before making financial decisions, and read the comparable listings behind any valuation.
• Use the tools only for lawful purposes and your own RVs or dealership business, per the Terms.
