Get My RV Worth

Privacy Policy

Last Updated: July 11, 2026

Get My RV Worth LLC (“Get My RV Worth,” “we,” “us,” or “our”), a Utah limited liability company, respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, share, and protect information about you when you use getmyrvworth.com (the “Site”) or any related services (collectively, the “Services”).

By using the Site or our Services, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to the practices described here. If you do not agree, do not use the Site or our Services.

1. Information We Collect

Information You Provide Directly

We collect information you voluntarily provide when you create an account, use the free seller tools, purchase the RV Valuation Tool, opt in to dealer help, or contact us. This may include:

  • Personal identifiers such as your full name, email address, phone number, and city/state of residence
  • Account credentials (your password is stored only as a secure hash by our authentication provider)
  • Payment information (processed by Stripe, Inc.; we do not store full card numbers)
  • RV details you store in your dashboard, such as year, make, model, trim, mileage, condition, asking price, description, and location, plus photos you upload
  • Communications you send us, including messages and email correspondence

Information Processed by Our AI Tools

Our AI tools run on this Site. When you generate headlines and ads, ask the seller coach a question, or run a valuation, the RV details and messages you provide are sent to OpenAI's API to produce the output, and the resulting outputs (and usage records such as token counts) are stored in your account so you can reuse them. Per OpenAI's API policies, API data is not used to train their models. Your listing data and photos are private to your account — we do not publish them or make them browsable by anyone else.

Information Collected Automatically

  • IP address and approximate location
  • Browser type, version, and language settings
  • Device type and operating system
  • Pages visited, time spent, and referring URL
  • Cookies and similar tracking technologies (see Section 7)

2. How We Use Your Information

  • Provide and deliver the Services you request or purchase, including your tool access link(s)
  • Email you your access link(s) and our comprehensive For-Sale-By-Owner guide
  • Add you to our email/tips list (you may unsubscribe at any time)
  • Process payments and communicate with you about your order
  • With your opt-in consent, forward your details to a vetted dealer partner so they can contact you (see Section 3)
  • Respond to inquiries and provide customer support
  • Improve the Site, troubleshoot issues, and enhance the experience
  • Detect and prevent fraud, abuse, and security incidents
  • Comply with legal obligations and enforce our rights

3. Sharing Your Information

Customers and Free Users

The information you provide is kept private. We do not sell, rent, or share it with third parties for their independent marketing purposes. We share it only with the service providers we use to operate the Services, and only as necessary for them to perform their functions.

Dealer Referral and Lead Marketplace (Opt-In Only)

If you affirmatively opt in to dealer help — by submitting our dealer-help form and checking the consent box — we share your name, contact information, and RV details with one or more third-party RV dealerships so they can contact you about consignment, a trade-in, a cash offer, or a purchase. Dealerships pay us for the exclusive right to receive your request. Under some state privacy laws, providing your information to a dealership in exchange for payment may be considered a “sale” of personal information — it happens only with your express opt-in consent, only for the purpose you requested (dealer contact about your RV), and dealers are contractually required to use your information only for that purpose and not to resell it.

You may withdraw your consent, or opt out of any “sale” or “sharing” of your personal information, at any time — for free and without an account — using our Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information page or by emailing support@getmyrvworth.com. When you opt out, we immediately stop offering any of your not-yet-shared information to dealers. We also honor Global Privacy Control (GPC) browser signals as a valid request to opt out of the sale/sharing of your personal information. Withdrawal does not undo sharing that already occurred; to ask a dealer who already has your information to stop, reply STOP to their texts or contact them directly. We are not a party to any resulting communication or transaction.

Service Providers

We share information with third-party providers who perform services on our behalf, including:

  • Payment processing (Stripe, Inc.)
  • Website hosting (Vercel) and analytics
  • Advertising measurement and remarketing (Google Ads) — see Sections 3 and 7
  • Database, authentication, and file storage (Supabase)
  • AI processing (OpenAI API) — used to generate your tool outputs, not to train models
  • Bot protection (Cloudflare Turnstile) and rate limiting (Upstash)
  • Email delivery (Resend)
  • Customer communication and support tools

These providers are obligated to use your information only as necessary to provide their services to us and to protect it appropriately.

Legal Requirements

We may disclose information if required by law, subpoena, court order, or legal process; to protect the rights, property, or safety of us or others; or in connection with a corporate transaction such as a merger, sale, or asset transfer.

Advertising and Measurement

We advertise our own services, and we use Google Ads to measure whether those ads work and to show our ads again to people who have visited the Site (remarketing). This uses cookies and identifiers set by Google. Under California and several other state privacy laws, this kind of cross-context behavioral advertising may be considered a “sale” or “sharing” of personal information, so we treat it that way and give you a clear way out (below).

We never hand your personal information to an advertising network for their own independent marketing purposes, and we do not put your name, email, phone number, or RV details into any advertising tag. The only compensated transfer of personal information we make is the consented dealer-connect request described above — initiated by you, for the purpose you chose, and revocable at any time.

How to stop it. If you opt out through our Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information page, or if your browser sends a Global Privacy Control (GPC) signal, we do not load the advertising tag at all on your browser — it is switched off entirely rather than merely limited.

4. Your Rights and Choices

You can exercise most of these rights directly in your account: edit your profile and RV details anytime, turn off marketing email with one switch on your Account page (every marketing email also contains an unsubscribe link), and permanently delete your account — including your RVs, photos, generated content, and reports — from the Account page. Depending on your state of residence, you may also have the right to access, correct, delete, restrict, or port your personal information, and to withdraw consent for marketing communications. To exercise any of these rights, email support@getmyrvworth.com. We will respond within the timeframes required by applicable law. If you are a California resident (or a resident of another state with similar laws), you may also opt out of any “sale” or “sharing” of personal information as defined by applicable law by emailing us at the same address.

State Privacy Rights (All U.S. States)

Regardless of where you live in the United States, we extend the following choices to everyone: opt out of the sale/sharing of your personal information; access a copy of the personal information we hold about you; correct it; and delete it. Residents of states with comprehensive privacy laws — including California (CCPA/CPRA), Virginia, Colorado, Connecticut, Utah, Texas, Oregon, Montana, Delaware, Iowa, Nebraska, New Hampshire, New Jersey, Minnesota, Tennessee, Maryland, Indiana, Kentucky, Rhode Island, and others as such laws take effect — may also have rights to limit the use of sensitive information, to non-discrimination for exercising rights, and, in some states, to appeal a decision.

How to exercise your rights. Use our Your Privacy Choices page, email support@getmyrvworth.com, or call (385) 831-0589. We honor GPC signals automatically. An authorized agent may submit a request on your behalf with your permission. We will confirm receipt and complete verified requests within the time your state's law requires — generally within 45 days. We may need to verify your identity before completing certain requests. We will not discriminate or retaliate against you for exercising any privacy right, and exercising a right never changes the price or level of service you receive. If we deny a request and your state provides an appeal right, you may appeal by replying to our decision; if you remain unsatisfied you may contact your state Attorney General.

Categories involved in the dealer-connect “sale/sharing.” The only personal information involved in a compensated transfer is what an opt-in consumer provides for dealer contact — identifiers (name, phone, email), general location (state), and the RV description — shared only with vetted RV dealerships, only after the consumer's express opt-in, and only for dealer contact about that RV. We do not “sell” or “share” any other category of personal information, and we do not knowingly sell or share the personal information of consumers under 16.

Data-broker status. Some states register “data brokers.” We collect the dealer-connect information directly from the consumer who submits it, with whom we have a direct relationship, which is generally outside the definition of a data broker; we monitor these evolving laws and register where required.

5. Data Security

We implement commercially reasonable technical, organizational, and physical safeguards designed to protect your information. However, no method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security; you transmit information at your own risk.

6. Data Retention

We retain your information for as long as necessary to provide the Services, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. When no longer needed, we securely delete or anonymize it.

7. Cookies and Analytics

Our site analytics are entirely first-party — we do not use Google Analytics. We do use one third-party advertising tag (Google Ads), described below, which you can switch off completely. The cookies in use are:

  • Authentication cookies (set by our auth provider) keep you signed in to your account.
  • An anonymous analytics cookie (gmrv_sid, a random identifier, 1-year lifetime) lets us count visits, see which pages and articles are read, and understand which page first brought a visitor who later creates an account. It contains no personal information, and this analytics data stays in our own systems — it is never shared with ad networks.
  • Google Ads cookies and identifiers (third party, set by Google) measure whether our own ads worked and let us show our ads again to people who visited the Site. We do not send your name, email, phone number, or RV details to Google. This is the “sharing” described in Section 3.
  • An opt-out cookie (gmrv_optout) records that you asked us to stop, so we can honor it on your next visit.

Turning off advertising cookies. Use our Your Privacy Choices page, or turn on Global Privacy Control in your browser. In either case we do not load the Google Ads tag at all — no advertising cookie is set, and no data goes to Google. Our first-party analytics also stop for GPC visitors. You can additionally manage Google's own ad personalization at myadcenter.google.com.

You can configure your browser to refuse or delete cookies; signed-in features require the authentication cookie to work.

8. Children

The Site and Services are not directed to children under 18, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 18. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact us and we will promptly delete it.

9. Third-Party Links and Platforms

The Site and our tools may reference or link to third-party services, including OpenAI/ChatGPT, Stripe, and classified listing platforms (RV Trader, RVT, eBay Motors, Facebook Marketplace, KSL, Craigslist, and others). We are not responsible for the privacy practices or content of those third parties. Please review their privacy policies before providing information.

10. International Users

The Site is operated in the United States and intended for U.S. users. If you access it from outside the United States, you do so at your own risk and acknowledge your information will be transferred to and processed in the United States.

11. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The “Last Updated” date reflects the most recent revision. Material changes will be communicated by email or a prominent notice on the Site. Your continued use after such changes constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
